
Attention Homecoming Parade entries: Floats will be able to park in the old cafeteria junior high parking lot. Please pull in to the parking lot off of Rocky Comfort Rd. and do NOT go past the school bus that will be parked there. Do NOT enter on the ag building side due to construction on that side and pre-K pick up. Pageant entries and any other cars or trucks my park in the circle drive of the new cafeteria.

First years at LSU vet school, Katie Miller and Zoie Suiter talked about what vet school is like and taught students how to prep for surgery.


OHE enjoyed a “Healthy Minds Magic Show” presented by Mr. Darryl Miller as we raise Mental Health Awareness this week.










Congratulations to Oscar Hamilton Elementary for being recognized as a 2023 School on the Move Toward Excellence by the Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).


CONGRATULATIONS!! Oscar Hamilton Elementary has been recognized by the Office for Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas as a school where students demonstrated high growth on the ACT Aspire!!!
Awards are based on the 2023 content growth score calculated by the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education. These growth scores reflect how much students at the school improved from 2022 compared to how much they were expected to grow considering prior achievement.


Trunk or Treat hosted by FHS EAST


OHE Student Council will be selling Homecoming Spirit Tattoos for $1 on Thursday October 5 at OHE and FHS. OHE students will turn their money in to their home room teacher. FHS students will be able to purchase tattoos from Mrs. McMillan during both lunches. Go Gators! 🐊

Gators and Gator Guardians:
Do not forget that the 2nd AR Book Test for all 7-12th grade students is due Monday, October 9. This is the final week for students to finish up their books and take a test or be ready to take one the following Monday to meet their deadline.
