Today’s date is: October 13, 2023
250,000 word cut off is today!!!
The Lady Gators will take on the FHS faculty next Monday during 6th period. There is a $2 admission charge for all students.
Teachers are passing out gift certificates for the concession stand for those students who scored proficient or advanced on the ACT aspire or who showed growth in three of the four areas.
All students wanting to help with the community haunted house on 10/21/23...there will be a meeting today at 3:30 at the haunted house site, which is downtown, to start the planning process.
FHS has 10 slots available for students to attend ACT boot camps at the Co-op. If you are interested in attending a workshop to help boost your ACT score, email Ms. Young to reserve your spot!
Band will be heading to Waldron for the Bulldog Marching Invitational tomorrow. They will be performing at 10:45 and would love to see your there.
Trunk or Treat will be Oct 31st hosted by EAST. We need all clubs to participate to make this a great event. This can earn Community Service hours. We also will need bags of candy donated. If you can help, please reach out to Mrs. Keeney.
The Foreman Community Cleanup will be Oct 14th. We have been asked to participate. If anyone is interested or needs community service hours, this would be a great opportunity. The event will be 8:30-noon at the Foreman Recreation Park (Hwy 41). Lunch will be provided. If you have any questions, please reach to Mrs. Keeney.

OHE would like to thank Ash Grove Cement Company for asking our 3rd and 4th grade students to participate in a coloring competition relating to respect. Each student colored and defined respect in their own way. The winners received a Walmart gift card from Ash Grove Cement.

Attention all parents of Pre-K and FHS car riders: Beginning tomorrow morning, October 12, all parking and drop off lanes will return to normal. Thank you for your patience during the repair time.
FHS parents please make sure you pick up and drop off your students in front of the cafeteria.

This week is Fire Safety and Prevention Week. It is important to make a plan of action and practice it to ensure everyone knows what to do when the smoke alarm sounds! This is a fire escape plan from one of our OHE K-3 students!
