Today, we welcomed families and friends to our Nature’s Runway Biomimicry Fashion Show! Our brilliant young scientists stepped into the spotlight to showcase their incredible innovations based on the Next Generation Science Standard 1-LS1-1. Over the past few months, these students have looked closely at the natural world, studying how plants and animals use their unique external structures—like sharp quills, tough shells, deep roots, and warm fur—to survive, grow, and thrive. But they didn’t stop there. They took inspiration from mother nature to solve real-world human problems. Please keep in mind that every single outfit seen began purely as a student brainstorm. Our young engineers: 1) Identified a human problem that needed a creative solution. 2) Selected a plant or animal adaptation to mimic. 3) Drafted original design plans, sketching out their exact blueprint and choosing their own materials. While we teachers stepped in with a helping hand for safety when tools were required for assembly, every single design, concept, and structural layout came directly from the minds of the students. Get ready to see fashion meet functional science.

FHS is proud to announce that Jaxson Hawkins has been selected to represent the Foreman School District at Arkansas Boys State. Thank you to American Legion Post 54 for sponsoring Jaxson. We know he will represent our community with honor.

We are excited to announce the newest leader of Foreman Gator Athletics! Coach Evan Spears brings passion, leadership, and a commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field. Coach Spears is ready to build relationships, create a winning culture, and continue the proud tradition of Gator excellence. The future is bright, and we cannot wait to see the impact he will have on our students and community.

Please join us in giving Coach Spears and his family a warm Foreman welcome! We will host a meet and greet next Thursday at 6:30 in the high school cafeteria, along with many other new hires to the district. So we encourage you to show your Gator Pride and come out, say hello, and shake some hands. #GoGators#GatorNation

Do our K-2nd grade teachers love their kids? Yes! Did they follow through on incentive promises for hard work? Absolutely!

7th grade is enjoying Greek Mythology, way to finish strong!

Mr. Stone's Ag students recently partnered with Ash Grove cement to build wood duck boxes, we appreciate Ash Groves's investment in our schools!

Mrs. Smith's 7th grade English class got the assignment right! The Greek Mythology "Hall of Fame" is a great exhibit of student creativity and acquired knowledge!

Today 5/12 will be the start of our Team Funded fundraiser. Students will bring their cell phone to this meeting in the cafeteria during GRIT to send out text messages to the community.

Testing is complete for our students and results are rolling in on a positive wave, these teachers provided many students the essential skills they needed to succeed!

Foreman 7th graders are working through to the end of the year! After researching Greek mythology, teams designed posters and created a Greek mythology Hall of Fame. Teams became the “expert” and answered questions from classmates. The posters were so creative and full information- they were so good we had to share!

Congratulations to our junior high boys basketball team for placing first in the Horatio tournament! They received their medals today!

Congrats To These Guys!!! Regional Champs with a 240 Score!!!! So Proud of all the hard work they have put in this year!!! Now we focus on bringing home State!!!
