The Foreman Administration and Gator Football team would like to thank all of the fans who came out to support our athletes in their first home game of the season on Friday. Ultimately the decision to cancel the game was made by both schools in an effort to protect our players and fans from the severe lightning that continued well into the night. While this is not how we wanted our first game to go, we will always keep our players safety as our number one priority.
Due to the lack of an available officiating crew on Saturday, the game was unable to be rescheduled. The Gators will kick off in The Swamp on Friday September 15 against Fouke. We hope to see you there! Go Gators!

Yearbook Announcement:
Yearbook sales for the 2022-2023 (last year) school year will end on Friday, September 15, 2023. We order a few extras for those who have missed, but we will only be ordering a few to avoid having too many left over. Ordering through the website or with a paper form insures we have enough to provide you with a copy. We left the orders open into this year since we opened the orders late last year.
Paper forms are in the office, or you may order online here: https://www.treering.com/purchase?PassCode=101599747986159
The 2023-2024 Yearbook (this year's book) will go on sale sometime in October, likely near parent-teacher conference time. We will get that information out as soon as the orders for it open up.
We still have several paper copies of the 2021-2022 yearbook available for anyone who missed purchasing it. Once those run out, they are still available through online orders on the Treering Website. We will post when we run out of those.
If you have questions, please email Ms. Beall.

‼️OHE Grandparents Day update‼️
Mrs. Maye Kindergarten class will meet in the Library.
Mrs. Miller Kindergarten class will meet in the Art room.
First Grade will meet in the Cafetorium.
All other grades will meet in their teachers room.

FHS Students, do not forget that the first AR test of the year will be due on Monday, September 11th as soon as you enter your English classes that day. Below are all of the book test dates for the whole year for all 7-12th grade students.
Students go to the library every 2 weeks as a group to check out books and exchange them for news to ensure that all students always have a book to read at home or at school. This also ensures that all books are returned to the library in a timely manner. Students have roughly 3-4 weeks for all book tests, and these dates are the final deadline for all books unless a teacher has to change it.
The library is also open Monday, Thursday, and Friday for book check-ins and exchanges.

FHS would like to recognize our Industrial Maintenance students. These students are able to earn college credit towards a technical degree during high school. They are taking classes such as welding, basic electricity, and industrial motor controls. These classes and degrees are essential for the industries in South Arkansas.
Seniors: Drake Bearden, Bronson Crumpton, Braden Kegley, and Connor Smith.
Juniors: Kaden Segraves, Michael Webb, Connar Ripley, Reed Proctor, and Aiden Lopez.

FHS is excited about the Alumni who are able to speak with our students. If anyone else is interested, please email: myoung@foremanschools.org

The Foreman FCA visited Region 8 in Pittsburg, TX for training on September, 6th.
