Foreman High School Track schedule

Next Tuesday, March 5th will be Spring Sports Pictures. The following groups will be photographed: -Baseball -Softball -Track -Trap Shooting As soon as we have a roster and headcount from the coaches for each respective sport, their coaches/sponsors will be notified of the order of pictures and of what each team should show up in on picture day so they may relay the information to their teams. All teams and individuals on the team will take a picture for the yearbook. Lifetouch has switched to online-only orders since the start of February, so your children will not be bringing home picture order forms for picture day. All English teachers on campus have received a copy of this flyer posted below and will be handing it out to students who want it, but it is the exact same as the form posted below. The flyer includes steps on how you can subscribe to Lifetouch updates, pre-order pictures, or view and order after picture day before ordering. Sports pictures do not have picture-retakes, so this will be the only picture day for these sports. For questions about ordering or setting up the account, please contact the email listed on the flyer.

Foreman School’s Updated 23-24 Calendar

OHE had a very special visit from DESE as Matt Sewell, Assistant Commissioner of Special Programs and Jeff Adams, Director of Special Education were on campus today. The purpose of the meeting was to celebrate the success of the BX3 team’s progress in their second year of the project with the Arkansas Behavior Support Specialists. OHE has reached proficiency in both Tier 1 and Tier 2 in implementation of school-wide positive behavior supports. The work of OHE’s BX3 team is often featured and shared around the state as a model for others to use as they are creating their systems of behavior support. We are proud of our SWAMP behaviors!

FHS teachers JoAnna Keeney (Computer Science) and Pat Stevenson (Science) partenered this week for a two day training at DMESC about the upcoming in Arkansas. Our teachers, along with others across the state, will be collecting data using tools provided to them. Mrs. Keeney and Mrs. Stevenson learned how to wire the bread board and program the sensors to collect data (temperature and luminosity).

Oscar Hamilton Elementary School is proud to announce they have earned the Highly Effective Schools Accreditation from Solution Tree. There are only a small amount of schools in Arkansas that have qualified for this recognition. Special thanks to Dr. Roger Guevara for partnering with us to make this happen.

Gators, The yearbook will be taking club, STUCO, Class Officer, and part of the Who's Who pictures tomorrow during 1-4th period. Please ensure you are dressed for picture day and have shirts for any clubs that wear them. If you need Who's Who props, please bring them. Here is the planned order of events: - Class Favorite & Class Officers (1st) -Who's Who (1st-2nd) - juniors and seniors should have an email about it unless their date is a different day. -Clubs (3rd-4th) The attached pictures include the names of those it will affect in Who's Who, Class Favorite, and Class Officers. Handbook pg 101 Only students who have presented a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance to the appropriate office personnel, may drive his/her vehicle to school. Vehicles driven to school shall be parked in the designated area for student parking. Parking on school property is a privilege which may be denied to a student for any disciplinary violation, at the discretion of the student’s building principal. Reminder: Handbook pg 34 CLOSED CAMPUS- All schools in the district shall operate closed campuses. Students are required to stay on campus from their arrival until dismissal at the end of the regular school day unless given permission to leave the campus by a school official. Students must sign out in the office upon their departure. Students will not be allowed to go with parents/guardians to lunch. Meals may not be delivered to students. Lunch options: 1. Chef Salad 2.
