Good morning, Gators! Today’s date is: Friday May 9, 2025 The last ACT for this school year is June 14, 2025. The deadline to sign up is May 9th. See Ms. Young to sign up. All lunch charges must be paid by Monday May 12th. No more charging after Monday and if you do not have money on your account, you will be sent to the office to call home. The last day to submit Virtual Arkansas lessons for all students is today, May 9th. No extensions will be allowed per VA. All library books are due this today. Volleyball sign-up sheet in the office Fall Sports parent meeting May 15th 5:30. This includes Football, Volleyball, Golf, and Cross Country. Students who are exempt must turn in their chrome book, charger, and case before they leave. Everyone else who is taking a semester test, must turn in their items once they have finished their last test. Students will come to the library to turn their items in. FHS 9th graders toured the Little Rock Central High School where they learned how the sacrifice and struggle endured by the Little Rock Nine have provided opportunities and opened doors for those seeking education around the world.

We are so proud of our amazing Million Words Club members! All that reading and hard work truly paid off — and what better way to celebrate than a fun and educational trip to MidAmerica Science Museum!

Our FHS students showed incredible dedication and perseverance during Atlas Testing, and we couldn’t be prouder! As a reward for their hard work and excellent attendance, students were treated to a fun and exciting trip to the Giraffe Inn and Safari in New Boston!

The 2nd grade field trip has been rescheduled to Tuesday, May 6th, 2025 due to the weather forecast. While we are aware there is still a chance of rain on the new date, we are working closely with the facility to ensure students can enjoy the full field trip experience. A note with more details about the rescheduling will be sent home. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
