HS Sped Paraprofessional

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assisting students in achieving academic success.  

Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Behavior support which includes physical management (training provided upon hire).

Facilitate social integration .

Consultation and collaboration with Special Education and Regular Education Teachers.

Provide assistance with personal hygiene care.

Model the school's professional and ethical standards when interacting with students, parents, staff, and community members

Perform other duties as assigned.

OHE Elementary Paraprofessional

Provide instructional reinforcement of lesson plans under direction of the classroom teacher.

Serve as a positive, nurturing guide for students.

Model the school's professional and ethical standards when interacting with students, parents, staff, and community members.

Co-teach lesson components as requested by the teacher.

Verify and track student attendance.

Perform clerical duties such as typing, filing, photocopying, and assist with tracking student progress.

Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Perform other duties as assigned.
